Ionosphere-weighted undifferenced and uncombined PPP-RTK: theoretical models and experimental results

Abstract Precise ionospheric information, as like precise satellite orbits, clocks, and code/phase biases, is a critical factor for achieving fast integer ambiguity resolution in point positioning (PPP-AR). This study develops an ionosphere-weighted (IW) undifferenced uncombined PPP real-time kinematic (PPP-RTK) network model using code phase observations. We introduce between-station single-differenced delay pseudo-observations to take advantage of the similar characteristics delays between two receivers tracking same satellite. The estimable parameters are commonly affected by differential bias referring particular receiver assigned pivot, which facilitates interpolation at user side. Then, performance IW PPP-RTK analyzed compared with those PPP-AR without corrections, RTK, IW-RTK models during low high solar activity days. results show that model, errors converge thresholds 2 cm horizontal components 5 vertical component within 20 epochs, become stable after initialization epochs root-mean-squared (RMS) values approximately 0.47, 0.58 1.66 east, north up components, respectively, superior other three models. Owing disturbance influence, RMS east increase double mean time-to-first-fix increases 61.5% case.
